B is for: Bette Midler, Cool Yule (Columbia, 2006)
What a gem. Great Christmas tunes and a reworked Christmas version of the smash hit single From A Distance. Get it for your Mom. This masterpiece won a grammy for Best Traditional Vocal Pop Album in 2006, and her hair looks great these days.
C is for: the Cats soundtrack, by Andrew Lloyd Webber
Get the classic from the man who brought us Jesus Christ Superstar and so many other great works of stage. Nothing better than popping this album in the player, closing your eyes, and imagining all those adults running around in skin-tight cat costumes. The show has been translated into 20 different languages and performed around the world. Bring it into your home this Christmas or better yet, give it to your uncle.

I'm looking forward to this entry for the next 24 days. As a matter of fact, it may be what I look forward to most each of those days.
I have seen the musical "Cats" twice; the first time being at Mt Isa when I stayed with a former carer for 14 days in September, 2000. The second time at the Schonell Theatre located at Queensland University just a couple of years ago, accompanied by a carer.
